A tweet-activated vending machine that prints customized messages along with your coffee. The Ikigai Tweet Machine is an innovative product sampling activation where people were asked tweet “what they wake up for?” using #IWAKEUPFOR to be rewarded with free coffee in a tweet-customized cup.

Fuel a conversation about Ikigai and the importance of knowing one’s purpose to engage audience. We created content and stories around “what do you wake up for?” to link back to what (only) a stimulating cup of NESCAFÉ coffee can start (the new global selling line is: It all starts with a NESCAFÉ”). We want to own morning starts, and create a compelling reason for a cup of NESCAFÉ coffee to get the morning started right
An interactive machine was placed in office towers, corporate festivals and schools where people are starting their days early and need a cup of coffee.
Simply, by tweeting their answer, resulted in a personalized coffee cup with their “Ikigai” printed on the cup, reminding people to start their day focusing on what’s important.
This new way of customer engagement sparked enthusiasm and generated a buzz of social conversations around the Middle East. But, most importantly, it reminded people about what’s important to them.
